What vaccines/prescriptions do I need for my trip?
An appointment with a doctor is required before we disclose which vaccines are recommended. Vaccines/Prescriptions needed for a trip vary on the destination and duration of your trip. Based off your trip and medical history, our doctors will recommend what will provide you with the best protection for your trip. The CDC offers general recommendations, however our doctors are able to provide vaccines and prescriptions based on your specific itinerary.
How much does a travel appointment cost?
The cost of the appointment is $75. Any additional travelers seen in the the same appointment will incur a charge of $50. The appointment fee is required, unless you are coming for a booster vaccine only. There are no vaccine administration fees at our clinic. Vaccines will incur additional costs. Please see the prices listed on our vaccine page. Full payment is due at time of service.
Can I receive vaccines on the same day as my consultation?
Yes, you may receive vaccines on the same day as your consultation. You may also reschedule your vaccines for a later date after your consultation if you prefer.
How soon should I schedule?
We recommend scheduling 4-6 weeks before traveling. Our clinic is only open 2 days a week, so appointments fill up fast. Also, vaccines need time to effectively provide protection.
How much does a follow-up appointment for a booster vaccine cost?
If you received a vaccine that requires a series for immunity, you will not be charged a appointment fee on concurrent visits. Only the fee of the booster vaccine will be charged. Please see the prices listed on our page.
*Please note you need to pay for each vaccine in the series at the time of service. We do not accept pre-payment.
For example: If a vaccine requires 3 doses for a series:
- Appointment 1: $75 + Fee of first vaccine.
- Appointment 2: Fee of second vaccine only.
- Appointment 3: Fee of third vaccine only.
You must have been given the first vaccine of the series in our office for us to waive the appointment fee.
Do you accept insurance?
No, our office does not accept any insurance. We will provide you with an itemized claim form that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Insurance coverage varies, please contact your carrier for coverage details. Full payment is due at time of service.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, checks, and cards are accepted. We recognize HAS, Health Savings Account cards as a form of card payment.
Do you offer prescriptions?
Based on your trip our doctors may write prescriptions for you to fill at the pharmacy of your choice.
