Amy Hernandez, PA-C, joined Oregon Infectious Disease Specialists in 2015. She graduated magna cum laude in microbiology from Oregon State University and went on to obtain her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Pacific University. A conversational Spanish speaker, Amy enjoys coaching patients toward healthier life choices with attainable goals while being treated for infection. She commonly addresses improved nutrition and smoking cessation, and she encourages patients to seek mental health support while dealing with life-changing infections.
A resident of the Willamette Valley since 2000, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, flower gardening, reading and traveling.
